Prima's May Product Picks.....

Hi Everyone, Hope you all enjoyed Mother's Day and have had a wonderful week!!
Thank you for joining me and welcome to my Blog!!

I have been busy !!
"Paper Mache"

Had me some messy fun with this, let me tell you!!
Four days it has actually taken me just to make balloon!!
Yes I know why!!
Well, I'm nuts... no, well yes , but with the time to dry between layers and sanding, painting then covering it with Prima papers huh, I'm slightly exhausted hahaaa!!

So I "really " hope you like it!!

I thought I'd enter it in the Prima mood board may PP!

here is the mood board

And here's My Take.....
Warning lots of photos!!

Well I had to share!! (wink!!)

Ok "helpful Harry" , my son got to my camera....don't know when,
but......I'm clicking away and uploading as fast as one could and it's not until
I'm re reading my blog I've noticed my shots aren't well their best!!
Then noticed my fav settings have been fiddled with, how Mr. Smarty pants
worked this out beats me, but LOL!! Anyway I am attempting to re shoot tomorrow!!

So some products used.....haaahaa...Prima Of Course!! ( cheeky Wink!!)

The papers used are a mixture of Princess collection, flowers are sprayed with
various glimmers ...( I know no bloom sprays for me just yet.....budget not up to it..
boo hooo!!)
Trims are Prima and some of my old stash, Oh and found the
most gorgeous crotched doliy in our OP shop, 20 cents, I couldn't believe it!!

I've used the Butterfly stencil with some model paste for texture
this was a challenge in itself....ever tried to stencil on a rounded surface??
But so happy it turned out!!
Oh when you heat it with heat tool just stay with it a little longer
than you would normally to dry it, and it will puff up adding a great 3d effect!!

I have added various butterflies from Martha, through to Cheery Lynn dies,
added some pearls for a shabby highlight and oh yes I have
painted the cream Prima flowers with some glimmer glam, so everything is
glittery!!

Of course some finishing touches with some Prima resins yummo!!
and their gorgeous chippies too!!

I used twine to make the scallops around the middle of the balloon
and to connect the basket, I forgot to put my Prima doll in the basket too....
Good Lordy I was doing well HEY!! LOL

I also added a net over the top of my hot air balloon, as when I was researching
I noticed a lot of the vintage balloons have netting, so an old
gift packaging came in real handy!! LOL

This is it in full view!! I have weaved Prima's  Princess collection into a basket!!

I will get back to you with some more details...have to pick my son up from school!!
