2013 December BAP Magda

This was some photos taken at our last Christmas Pageant, He was so excited,
must say So was I ...being a big kid at heart...who doesn't get excited
when Santa's coming to town!!
He had lost his front teeth due to a traumatic chain of events from childcare
we wont spoil our theme, any way that's what we where waiting for
Santa to bring.....but as luck would have, we are STILL waiting!!!

I fell in love with this paper range as soon as it hit our shores, and eager to use
these cute photos, I was waiting for  more than a miracle for some long winded
inspiration and mojo !! And what better place to look than on my fav blog!!
( cheeky wink!!)

I have started Off using my ever loved prima masks and topped them with
chalkboard linen to give that white snowy effect, throw in some diamonds
Tim's of course!! And played around with my other favs dies!!

Indulging in a few close ups....
I coloured my Prima flowers with some new Fireworks mist
OMG love this stuff, I painted the inner petals with the
London Fog and dazzled the tips with more diamonds!!

In this cluster of flowers I used Trunk bay, and white washed
when Finished, then went over with some London Fog...
just yummy don't you think??

The wish is Leeza Gibbons Stamps and inked in white paint
trickled with rock candy glitter

Well That's it for me for this year...
Here's wishing you all The very Best for the New Year xxxx

"Prima June Bap"

Well good morning all,
hope this winter weather is keeping you crafty busy!!
I have a Lo to share with you that has an old twist
( if you'll pardon the pun!!)
to it....Quilling I know right!!
I have had these baby photo's and didnt know what to do with them
I searched around to see what was the trend at the mo and well
nothing...
so I decided to have a play with the Prima June Bap
and came up with this.....
Hope you like it!!

I have titled it "10 Little Fingers and !0 little Toes"

Using the ever lovely Prima "Fairy Ryhmes" paper I choose to go for a
subtle hint of added colour... and added some shabby effects.
The cheese cloth behind the butterflies, white wash on the flowers
and some snow paint on the birds and dragonflies.

I cant believe my little man used to be that small.....
well he wasn't a small bubba "9 pound10" !!
I love these photos and imagery of the size of my hand and his
so glad I took them even if they are colour challanged and
not quite visually accurate!! hence the B and W..

So I started off the other arvo thinking what can I do that's different
what can I do to bring in a flourish feel to my L.o without the blingy stuff!!
So I cut up my scrap bits of Prima papers to match in colour theme
and started to quill the old circles...and well "ta da"!!!
I know right I was quite pleased with the outcome...
took me most of the arvo to glue them alltogether
and then to position them and glue some more !!
Ahh the joy of waiting for glue to dry heeheehee!!

some close ups of my little flourishes and the die cuts!!

wouldn't be my layout with out some brick wall hey!!

The flowers are just enough to add a soft appeal
and a little whimsy just perfect for another baby L.o
wow I'm really on a roll with these now...
ahhh Inspiration never too late!!

Hope you enjoy and it inspires you too to bring something old back in!!
Have a go it's really quite easy and very therapeutic!!

This is the Prima sketch !!

A Vintage Bo Bunny Layout

I used the gorgeous Bo Bunny papers 'ET Cetera", layered with my favorites
Dies, Dies and more Dies!!
Oh yer and my masks and splotches of paints ect..
Glimmer mists, blingz and shimmerz!!
Added my daubers of gold, denim, and walnut for some extra splotch!!
I added some cheesecloth tattered it and threw in some doily's
and whats my layouts without my cogs!!

I so love this photo of my "little man", (this is a bit of a joke as my boy
Is very tall for his age...towers over everyone at school on his grade, ahh
just like his mumma!!)
He's really loving his first year of school and he's picking things up so quickly
might have a budding accountant or architect on my hands!!

I'm entering this in this months  C'est Magnifique Kit Challenge
http://cestmagnifiquekits.blogspot.com.au/2013/05/our-may-sketch-challenge.html,
I'm so proud of my boy for his gorgeous nature and forever helping others at school
He makes me laugh as he is quite the ladies man at school too,
I may be bias but that's why I chose the title "Heart Breaker"!!
Heeheeehee!!

Just a few close ups of the paint work and mask use, I so love getting messy...
Hmm time for a clean up of the craft table!! whoops!!

He is just a happy go lucky boy and loves having his photo taken

Prima May BAP

This is something I don't often do, share a picture with me in it!!
I hate having my photo taken!!
So this is a big share for me.....
This is my take on the Prima's May BAP!!

I loved this sketch and what better choice in papers to use the ever gorgeous "Lyric",
teamed up with some pixie glen stamps,
 lots of fussy cutting, layers,
3d and yes I know "flowers,flowers everywhere!!
This photo was taken on my 3rd Mother's Day,
 I haven't done a Mother's Day LO so,
another new for me!! Yeh!!

Some paint splotches with a little liquid pearls to add effect..

My love for using stencils is no secret especially my prima ones....
oh yes and am quite addicted to the brick wall...
which I added dimension to by adding some Blingz and shimmerz too
soooo yummy!!

A close up of my flowers and layers, oh and the bricks!!

My Title as it was and as is every Mummy's Day
A very special time to remember how blessed I am!!
He makes everyday to me special and I am so lucky for my Little Man. xox

I used some dies that I thought would tie in with this floral cottage shabby feel,
my ever fav the picket fence by magnolia, some Cheery Lyns, and
cant forget fabulous Martha!!

I really love the feel and colours of these papers and so loved working with them
hmmm might have to re-stock heehee!!

Some close ups!!

Hope you enjoyed and it started some craftn' Inspiration!!

A Pirates Life for me...

A little simple stories with a challenge in mind!!
I'd like to enter this in scrapfriends blog challenge

 http://blog.scrapfriends.com.au/search/label/Sketch%20Challenge

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxVnP-5_snBG7VVvHPGpPIoTCpWNl1IW9eq_3bjH0J6dWrkTQ4_BJy0qPeT2y1jqbXJQf2n-yDTMhRvI6cPxzeYA8JRP5Nn3IuoKmptwC7rkxVfnkE4N69zC1UHwNEqwl-XWjUSDqZTA1U/s1600/sketch_40.jpg

This was my little one at his first dress up party..Pirate theme!!
Used some nautical S.Up stamps, a touch of Prima, Maya Road tag
that I transformed into a treasure map, all been inked shimmerz and glimmer mists
to give it an old wold worn look..
Oh and went back to school basics and burnt my paper edges,
inked them up and there you have it a treasure map feel !!

added some string for the steps around the treasure map to get to the X marks the spot
i.e the tag!! bit of fun!!

The gorjus frame haha there's a hint is from my newest stamp collection
from the gorjus stamps!!Doesn't it just suit the theme perfectly!!

A little close up...or 2!!

Throw in some pirate phrases and argh my hearties!!!

So loved how this turned out..great little boy Layout
and of course how cute is my little man!!
