Hi there all and yes I'm alive just had the most terrible time with my internet

over the last year and it worsened.

So out with the old on with the new ( fingers cross for me please!!)

 

Today I have a treat for you

Our lovely Em has come up with another yumo set of sketches for you

to get those mojo blues out of the way....

I know mine have been, so without further ado....

This photo was taken last year, first day of school.

We had such a hard time last year with "Bullying" that I wanted to remind my son

that everything starts anew as he was so anxious not wanting to go back to school this year.

So I said we "Never give up" and never let this bet him and He should

"Reach for the stars" so That became my titles for this page.

 

We try to teach our kids the right things to do ....not hurt, share

look after, but it just blows my mind how other's don't.

It's all too hard, or my personal fav "You don't understand the circumstances".

 



 

This is my use of bunting, love it, cannot recall me using "Bunting"

in any of my layouts before......have to fix that!!

 Here Is my Gorgeous Boy ( sorry bias I know xx)

 

This photo I love we were up some side street in the heat

waiting for mum to pick us up after the Pagant,

 

Our first one together...

He was so excited which just made it even more special for me too!!

 

So this is my interpretation of "Em's Sketch......

 

 

 

These gorgeous papers I used are from an old fav of mine

"Maja Design"

 and the music note is from Melissa Frances 

 

Indulging in a few close ups.....

 

I have made pinecones from "Tim Holtz Die"

 my flowers are from magnolia Doohicky Die Poinsettia,

There's some Obsession Impression and Cheery Lyn in there too!!

 

 



 

I embossed the edges and used my Favourite "Snow"

On the Title and Flags/banners..

 

Close up of my flower... preety Huh!!

 

Our challenge was to incorporate a Number in our layout

so being our 1st pagent I incorporated the number one

 just above the pinecones and on the flower!!

 

 

Here Is a close up of the stencil work ( Tim's Of course!!)

I used model paste then sprinkled embossing powder over it

as I heated it puffed up really nicely!!

Christmas Family traditions

lol "EAT lots!!"

One tradition I guess you can call it that,

is making Christmas slices for our family and

Christmas Day.......and for the next 3 weeks LOL!!

 So I have such fond memories

Of mum and I (and my sibs when they wanted too)

would spend a day making all these yummy

slices.....

So in tradition My son and I carried it on and we spend a day or 2

making Christmas slices ( great teachers gift!!)

As he loves to cook with me and it was such a special time for me

I wanted to share the same with my boy!

Although have to watch the " Quality Control" heeeheee!!

Well You have to taste to see if they're ok!!

Don't you??? wink!!

 

Anyway I cant wait to hear about your traditions and see your interpretations

of Em's sketches....

Ready for some "Christmas" ????

Hi there Everyone.......Yes it's been a long time between posts!!

 

 

 

 Well It's not lack of trying let me tell you!!

 

Just a quick post today to say "Stay Tuned" as I have some treats for you!!

 

Now that my son and I are on the mend.....It has been a bugger of a year with

 

flu's and whatnot Let me tell You!!

 

It's hit everyone hard this year I think

So if your poorly Hugs to you xx

 

Anyways the lovely Em has some amazing sketches for us to tantalise your crafting

senses and help us with some might needed Xmas Mojo ( wink... Wink!!) 

 

They will be released 1St of December!! 

 

 

I have tried my hardest to get to our local Craft fair

but alas that didn't happen...

But did make some super lovely Xmas Cards I might say so myself..

 

I will endeavour to post them ASAP !!
