Not much time for craftin'........

              Hi All,

well lets see...yes I'm still alive,
still working on the dealings of my arthritis in and out of specialists etc.,
              but I'm getting there,
so crafting hasn't been a big part of life.....unfortunately....
my fingers just seize at present so I'm not a happy camper!!
My big boy is now in year one of school and well it was a bumpy ride for the start.
WE had a lot of trouble last year with "Bullying" and it started the same....
.             it has subsided for now,
and his school has been very supportive and is helping us manage the problem,
On a lighter side he finally has his 2 front teeth starting to show!!! YAH!!!
Oh it's a biggy for us as we have been waiting and waiting,
He had a nasty accident at childcare (one of a few) and lost his first 4 front teeth
             due to an "accident"!!
His bottom 2 came through no problem but his 2 top ones ...well let's just say they kept us
             WAITING!!
So will share some pics when they're on show properly!
We've been to some really nice playgrounds down at grans place on our last visit
so stay tuned for some layouts!!
Fingers crossed that mine are on board with my creative flow hahaha!!
I have had  a little play and will share some creations,
I hope you have all been well and thank you to all your well wishes and thoughts,
it's so nice to know I have such wonderful friends xoxoxo

So without further waffling ...... here's  have been playing with.

                                                                     "Prima Optimist Tags"

"Perfect Day"
I had a fun afternoon of fussy cutting something I love but don't
get to indulge too much these days!!
I have layered with dies and cheese cloth, paints, glimmers
gesso and flowers...Prima of course!!
Died the seem binding with pink and orange colours to blend..
I have used glimmer mists and Tim Holtz re inkers!!

My last tag I have started off with painting with gesso
then used Prima's stencils, added some layers of dies and goodies
and copied my seem binding dying.
I added some more gesso for a soft effect on the flowers and bits here and there!!

Happy Craftin

2013 December BAP Magda

This was some photos taken at our last Christmas Pageant, He was so excited,
must say So was I ...being a big kid at heart...who doesn't get excited
when Santa's coming to town!!
He had lost his front teeth due to a traumatic chain of events from childcare
we wont spoil our theme, any way that's what we where waiting for
Santa to bring.....but as luck would have, we are STILL waiting!!!

I fell in love with this paper range as soon as it hit our shores, and eager to use
these cute photos, I was waiting for  more than a miracle for some long winded
inspiration and mojo !! And what better place to look than on my fav blog!!
( cheeky wink!!)

I have started Off using my ever loved prima masks and topped them with
chalkboard linen to give that white snowy effect, throw in some diamonds
Tim's of course!! And played around with my other favs dies!!

Indulging in a few close ups....
I coloured my Prima flowers with some new Fireworks mist
OMG love this stuff, I painted the inner petals with the
London Fog and dazzled the tips with more diamonds!!

In this cluster of flowers I used Trunk bay, and white washed
when Finished, then went over with some London Fog...
just yummy don't you think??

The wish is Leeza Gibbons Stamps and inked in white paint
trickled with rock candy glitter

Well That's it for me for this year...
Here's wishing you all The very Best for the New Year xxxx
