Prima April BAP

This is my take on Prima's April Bap

The paper is from londonary collection,
I have used Prima's brick wall mask and glimmered
shimmerz and used Blingz to highlight the wall pieces.

The paper behind the photo of my Little Man is Fairy Rhymes
I cut it into different widths to give a fence like feel to the picture.

Added some cogs and flowers where the star/snowflake embellishments are to be
threw in some keys to keep with my vintage feel !!
My little man is still Train mad!!
everywhere there's a train...guess where we are!!

I had some scrap pieces left over from a card I was doing using the lyric range and found the ticket stub
so I was happy it all fit in so well,
wow Prima 3 collections over a period of time and they fit like it was men't to be!!
That's why we luv ya!!

So here is a larger full shot of my LO.....

Im in need of a ladder to get better shots of my LO....yep we're always learning!!

A little close up of the "fence Piece"..

Hope you enjoy and it inspires you...

Baby Layout

This is about the 3rd Baby layout I have done!!
Not Bad only taken me nearly 6 yrs ..lol
Just waiting for the right papers and inspiring sketch.....
Which comes to mind I would like to enter this in 2 Challenges.
http://sassyscrappers1.blogspot.com.au/ and

http://cestmagnifiquekits.blogspot.com.au/2013/04/our-april-sketch-challenge.html

I haven't entered a "challenge in some time (last year !!)
So I'm quite nervous and excited at the same time!!

The shots below are of the process I came up with to add layers
techniques ect ,indulge me if you will....
crepe paper frill, hand sewn , attached with modge podge
gessoed, glimmered, and blingz .
The background was first layered with templates
( Prima of course!!)
I used modeling paste to give depth and as "whoopses" happen
didn't let it dry enough lol I accidentally smudged it, rather like
the effect though, it gave a hazy effect to the LO!!
So as You do I went with it and then glimmered iridescent gold all over...

I added some German Scrap angel wings, that are covered in shimmerz...

Prima Alphabets that are covered with Glimmer mist and then topped off with Blingz!!
I have used Prima embellishments and flowers to adorn this little LO..

A close up to hopefully get a glimps of all the paint work!!

And Finally (sorry..!!) My Layout!! Ya...
He's just so Adorable...don't ya think hehehe!!

Another indulgement LOL!!

Prima Cards

Some Prima cards to inspire....

I had all these gorgeous prima lace, crochet flowers and well I wanted to use them
but nothing was working for me on the layouts I was into...
so I decided to start getting ready for Mother's Day and well
here's what I came up with!!

Had a play with some of the new masks and  layered and layered
painted pearled and voila..

really loved how these turned out soft subtle and very Vintage Chic..

This is my Mother's Day card I am giving to my mum...
she doesn't know it yet so shh!!!

The one thing amongst many things
that I adore of Prima is the versatility of their products,
to prove a point I have used both their fairy ranges...
"Fiary Belle" and "Fairy Rhymes"

Just adore these ranges and love to get to play "girlie" with them...lol
I have a dded some Prima trim some old lace I had in my stash
and a Prima flower to finish it off..

Happy Mother's Day to all our Mummy's out there for May!! xoxox

Hope you enjoy and Happy Crafting Allie xx

Prima Craftsman...steampunk,Industrial Layout

My Craftsman Layout...

This layout took me a week to think about, my papers lined up...
well followed me to which room I decided to create in...the weather changed to cold..

So I laid out the paper, photos and embellishments that I had in mind and waited...

and waited, and then I decided ah blow it lets just cut it up.... and so I did
and went right What Now!!!...
Then at 2 o'clock on Saturday morning I decided to ink, crackle and
ink some more in between layers drying,

All up I think there is about 30 pieces of different sized bits that have all been carefully, crazily
painted, inked, pierced , brads applied trinkets adorned
and then rubbed with gold to finish it off....this process alone took me 3 hours
that's with drying time!! LOl Things we do Hey!! But I just love it.....

I have used 2  of the newest prima masks,
the crackle paint (hmmmm), think I'm obsessed with this..LOL
and the mini dots. applied some model paste for added texture,
then crackled that and rubbed back with my gold rub.

I decided to throw a few stamped images "craftsman" to finish it off
and did a little free hand journalin something I rarely do, but it was a fun touch.

This is my favorite picture of my little man
and just worked so well with this layout I had in mind...

He is My Guy and he amazes me everyday!!!

Just a few close ups.....

Hope you enjoy

Prima Sunrise Sunset

This layout is jut a fav of mine, when I saw that finibar had released a line of prima
I couldn't wait to get my little hands on them and "Play",
I didn't expect this soft, feminine and not so shabby outcome!!
I was just so pleased with how this turned out, I truly hope you enjoy it too.

I have used some Prima lace trims and velvet from my stash and topped it off with some pearls.
Added a little stamping on vellum another favorite habit of mine and well those Prima flowers yummy!!

Tried my hand at some homemade embellishments with this string heart...which I might add, gave me a little
grief as it was twisting and sticking to the gesso....but persistence prevailed and very happy with the touch it adds.

A close up of the prima masks I have used ...just love this and not forgetting the clock face trinkets!!

just some more close ups!!!
